How do I log in to the Member Area?

Please set yourself a password to enable you to log in to the member area at the website. Your username will take this form..

ccc-nnnnn

..that’s your membership number which must be five digits following the ccc- bit. Use leading zeroes if necessary, for example ccc-09999 or ccc-00555. Make sure members@citroencarclub.org.uk is in your address book, whitelist, your safe sender list or whatever it takes to improve delivery.

Please make sure that you are at citroencarclub.org.uk and if so..

1- Click ‘Log in’ on the main menu.
2- Click the link ‘Lost your Password?’
3- Then enter your username.
4- Click ‘Get New Password’.
5- Check your inbox for an email* that contains a link.
6- Follow the link and it’ll send you to a ‘Reset Password’ page.
7- Carefully type a new password..
8- ..and again in ‘Confirm password’ .
9- Then click ‘Reset Password’.
10- Click ‘Log in’ on the main menu.

Then clear anything that might reside in the login fields including text, black dots, stars or whatever. Especially watch out for a rogue space in there. Now you will be able to log in..
Username: ccc-same as above
Password: the new one you just created

* If you don’t receive an email in step 5, it’ll likely be in your spam folder.

When you create (and each time you change) your password, your browser will offer to save your login credentials to ease your next visit. You may allow this if using your own device, but you should not if you are using a public machine – in the Library for example.

What’s the best way to contact you?

It’s best to contact us by email – please see CONTACT to the right of the HELP button.

How much is a current subscription?

Depending upon where you’d like to receive your monthly magazine, the UK sub is £42, Europe is £70 and the rest of the world is £100 annually. All prices are quoted in Pound Sterling (£ GBP) and are not subject to VAT. If the membership has expired and has been removed from the database, it will be necessary to rejoin. The current subscription is always published in the Citroënian on page 1 along with our bank account details.

How do I know if I pay by Direct Debit?

The first line of the address carrier on your Citroënian gives your membership number and renewal date which may be followed by ‘DD’. In which case, you have a Direct Debit in place and need take no further action. We will collect your sub on the renewal date or thereabouts.

When you log in to your membership record your payment method is shown as ‘GoCardless DD’.

If you do not have a DD with us, when you renew you’ll see DD is now a choice and you can set it up yourself. As this only works with UK bank accounts, overseas members should check with me prior to applying.

What’s my membership number?

Your membership number is printed on the address carrier each month. It is the five digit number between 00001 and 29999 on the top line. Do not use the large number printed in bold elsewhere on the carrier – that is the Royal Mail’s routing number.

How do I know when my sub’s due?

Due to the ever increasing UK postal costs, we will no longer send a paper invitation to renew in advance. Your expiry date is printed on the Citroënian address carrier every month. If you have a working email address let me know and I’ll add it to your record which will enable email reminders starting at the beginning of your renewal month. If you don’t have an email address yourself, perhaps we could contact you via a family member. The current subscription is published every month at the bottom of page one of the Citroënian and,  if you would rather not pay online, your payment options are in the Members Area. The address carrier also gives your membership number. If we have a Direct Debit instruction from you, your renewal date will be followed by ‘DD’ and, if so, you need do nothing.

How do I inform the Club of a change of address?

Your membership record is accessible in the Members Area and you can make changes yourself. Alternatively, please send an email and quote your membership number or, at least, your old postcode. We send the mailing list to the printers around about the 15th – 19th of the month so please let us know in good time.

Who do I contact about a missing Citroënian?

We lose half a dozen a year in the post. Some get wrecked or soaked en-route. Either way, if it happens to you, let us know and a spare copy will go in the next mailbag. If you want an old copy or an extra copy, please contact Back Issues.

How do I renew on-line with a credit/debit card?

On the main menu look for Quick Renew. You may renew a membership with a credit or debit card or by Paypal. You don’t need to login; you will be asked your membership number, surname and post code. The card payment page is hosted by Paypal, but you don’t need a Paypal account – just select Pay by Credit or Debit card. If you experience difficulty paying by card please telephone 07488 533911 between 09:00 and 19:00 weekdays. If the phone is unmanned please try again in a couple of hours.

How do I renew with online home banking?

The Club’s account details are given in the Citroënian at the bottom of page one. PLEASE use your name and membership number as the reference. Your membership number is on your card – at a push use the postcode we send the magazine to.

Where can I get replacement stickers?

Stickers with the new logo are available from the club shop for a small sum – please send an email to the address given in CONTACT.

How do I join the Club’s car hire list?

We are often contacted for car hire for special occasions and media work. Weddings and similar require a dressed car with driver. Media work such as magazine shoots, filming and advertising is always on short notice and invariably involves a lot of standing about in the rain. If you want your car included, please email members@citroencarclub.org.uk

How do I add to this list?

Just let us know!
