Hi Steve, yes not much action on here I’m afraid. Hopefully you have it sorted by now, but if not. Could you have knocked something while taking the battery in and out?

    Hi Tim

Not sure if you are aware, but I’ve mentioned your car in the CX column a couple of times. Ok to do an update now it’s popped up again? Where in north Yorkshire are you. I’m just south of Selby.

This forum is very quiet, there is more “traffic” on the CCC facebook page.

in reply to: Another new (old) CX owner #7064

Yes I’m on those, car looks much better in pictures than in real life,it needs a total re spray. Every panel has dents, rust and scratches… But at least this meant I could buy it relatively cheap! Good idea to put it back to standard. Can’t make the CCC weekend unfortunately, have something on that weekend booked in months before I bought my cx. I’m no expert but has the accumulater sphere been left unscrewed? That will stop it keeping pressure, I’ve even heard stories of the bolt being undone completely and the ball bearing inside being lost without anyone knowing it’s there. Get in touch with Stan it’s the best thing any cx owner could do!

    Hi Jamie!
Great first post. Glad to “see” another newby like myself on here. It’s far too quiet. Please post some pictures,( I’ll have to do likewise now!) If you need parts or just advice get in touch with Stan, number in the magazine, it will be the best thing you can do, apart from more cx’s that is!

in reply to: CX Croisette #6990

They seem to be lots on sorn, so are either used as spares cars or maybe ( hopefully) getting repaired one day. Everybody says I’d love a cx one day but nobody seems to actually go out and buy them! Who wants a common car anyway, part of the reason I got mine was it’s rareaty 😉

in reply to: CX Croisette #6981

The web site how many left my tell you how many on the road or sorned. It would depend on if the details are fully inputted though. there can’t be many as, when I last looked there was 61 cx’s in total on the road!
