Thanks Paul, I’ll look into this deeper and let you know if I find a positive result for future referance.
I remember Jamie saying the H4 yellow bulbs would be less efficient than what I have at present so I’ll investigate further thanks for Citroen Classic site mention.
Paul the Mat is for praying that the next invoice will be a small one and when it’s not needed for that it catch’s the oil leak 🤓
Love those bulbs they look a very serious bit of kit, I believe my existing units are a cheaper copy so I’ll keep an eye out for the genuine Pallas ones.Justin a blast in the future sounds good 👍
I believe yellow and white headlights are legal and again I think you can get H4 yellow bulbs but it can get complicated depending on which lenses you have.
My first drive of any Citreon was when I drove her home from Manchester to Hertfordshire, I have to say they really are no other car I’ve driven 😂 looking forward to driving her after Jamie has had a little tiggle.
I am enjoying painting the engine components at present.Blimey at last I got it 😂 I found the second from last picture on Google showing my car with yellow bulbs/headlights which have been changed since, I’m going back to yellow bulbs I love that yellow glow reminds me of Paris 50 odd years back when I was just a boy working with my Dad at the exhibition centre in Paris, never forget the image of that atmosphere created by all yellow headlights it was amazing.

Great story Paul with a lovely ending 👌
Thanks Peter, not too late filter is being stripped at present, I have been led to believe there is not a Ral code for Gris Rose’ so I have decided to possibly spray in 2k which I can obtain in Gris Rose’.
Thanks for letting me know about Ral 7044 👍Thanks for your reply Paul, as always your a mind of information, Jamie said it was Gris Rose but didn’t have the Ral code to hand, I feel the Gris Roue would be as good especially as the Ral code is available.
Much appreciated Paul. Sean.Just trying again thanks Paul I have set up an account and will get there in the end 🤓
I’m just trying to see if my up load has worked so please ignore me if it has not😂
Hang on in there Justin, just teething problems which I’ll be going through with you I’m sure with my new addition, it will all be forgotten once they are running well on a nice country lane 🤞
Cheers Justin, yes it was sad to see one of its previous owners pass away not long after buying the car! I bet you cannot wait to get behind the wheel of your newly worked on Ds, hopefully you will be able to get some miles on the clock before winter sets in.
Thanks Collin there are some wonderful cars in those photos and nice to see mine out and about as it should be.
Paul I agree the light catch’s the cars lines very nicely.
Looking forward to catching up with people when they let us all out to play again 🙂Hello Paul thanks for the congratulations! I’m based down the road from Jamie so as you say not too far away from yourself, at present she does not drive as good as she should due to being set up badly but all to be rectified soon, I’m still in the looking out the window every 10 minutes at the amazing shape and I love it in black with the velour interior. It took me two years to find the right car at a price I could afford so very happy at the moment.
I hope your getting close to putting yours back together!! Ill up load some more photos when I get her back from Jamie in a couple of weeks time. All the best Sean. -
