Hi Alan, I expect you have sorted your bottom ball joint search problem. Just to let you know though that someone has posted a NOS early spec joint (up to 1974) for sale on Facebook ‘Citroen CX Parts for sale/wanted’
Hi Stan, do you mean the rubber dust guards for the suspension cylinders? if so both CX Basis of Germany and Chevronics in the UK do them.
Hello Paul, I’m not sure myself but Stan Platts will know for sure, give him a ring.
Hi Ted, you could try Stan Platts in the UK, he knows all there is to know about the CX and has a large amount of CX spares. Don’t know an email for him only phone number. 01274 683848. Worth a try, good luck.
Hi Stan, if not an Ebay seller then what about contacting Stan Platts, I’m sure he will have a good used item.
Hi Stan,
Try posting a wanted add on Facebook, ‘Citroen CX-parts for sale/wanted’ or the ‘Citroen CX unofficial fan club’
sites for a handbook or help and info.Could be extra charges on top if coming from EU these days. Also I believe there is more than one type, different CX models etc.
Not 100% sure but on my 1988 Series2 DTR the paint code is stenciled in white paint on the o/s suspension turret.
I would say that the top wire is for the ABS sensor feed and the lower ones are for the low brake pad warning. If odometer/ speedo not working likely to be a cable.
No you can not adjust for UK roads, only adjustment is for left/right, up and down. You could put tape in the right places to knock out the kick up but best thing to do long term is to remove the glasses and replace with UK right hand drive spec, easy to do and I’m sure if you ask around plenty of replacements available. Try Citroen CX parts for sale and wanted, or Citroen CX unofficial fan club.
