mine although not Webasto is very similar (Wilsons Sun Roof Service) and has an internal deflector that is used when the sunroof is open.
My problem is the headwind noise when the sun roof is closed. Attached is a photo of the roof closed and the internal deflector. Thnaks again for the trouble to send details of your sunroof. Ralph

I think your right about possibly redirecting the wind problem elsewhere but think may be less of a problem. I seem to remember the Webasto deflector being a low profile green semi translucent plastic material. I will keep digging but in the meantime will stick with the gaffer tape!
