Hi Robert
Short answer – B‘A’ has always been regarded as a ‘safety catch’
If it is difficult to close the door onto the fully closed position you may need to adjust the catches by slackening off the 4mm hex screws and moving them closer to the door lock. Be aware these catches also move up and down so try to align them with a small clearance top an bottom into the door lock. Make sure you have good 4mm allen key as the screws are made from Camembert and round off easily.Hope this helps.

Hi Robert
I have a lubrication chart (not in English) you can download it from my drive here
Not very concise but you need to concentrate on the following grease points;-
Driveshaft Cardan joint
Top ball joint
Bottom ball joint
Front antiroll bar
Top and bottom antiroll bar link rodSo that’s 12 grease nipples on the front, there are no grease nipples on the rear suspension but if you can pull back the boot on the suspension cylinder rod where it locates in the arm put some in there, you may need an adapter to go inside the boot
Hope this helps.

want to somehow oil the springs or stop the crunchy spring sound somehow !
Had to laugh at this, mine does the same – maybe a design fault 🙂

Hi Robert
When the lever is in the down position the child lock is on. These lock mechanisms are troublesome if not used often especially the child lock, may just need a good “freeing off”.
Hope this helps.

Hi Sean
I think you might need something a little heavier than a rubber mallet, sounds like the support rubbers have a good grip on the rust. Try a little WD40 on the outside of the bumper tube and a second pair of hands to wiggle the bumper as you tap. Keep the nut in place temporally or use a block of wood to save the threads. When they have been released remove the bumper squarely, again a second pair of hands will help with this.
I removed mine recently for a different reason. https://citroendsrestoration.blogspot.com/2016/09/rear-bumper-woes.html
Good luck.Kind RegarDS

Hi Justin
The trims you need come as a front half and a rear half joined at the interior lights. Unfortunately they come with the roof lining kit https://shop.citroenclassics.co.uk/pallas-headlining-set—grey—5-pieces-698-p.asp not sure if they are available separately, maybe a specialist trimmer could help.Kind RegarDS

This pipe is a return pipe from the rear height corrector and should be in one piece. Rather than replace the whole pipe I would join it with a section of rubber/rilsan pipe. Don’t worry about the LHM passing the height corrector, they all do.

The small rubber pipe has perished where it connects to the back of the carburettor – will this affect the running of the engine much?
I think it will? The will be air drawn into the manifold the wrong side of the carburettor causing a lean mixture, I would replace this pipe and check the mixture/idle speed.
BTW all two piece exhaust manifolds are the same apart from USA/Canadian exports with emission controls on them.
Hope this helps.
