      Thanks everyone. I’ve been slow to reply as I’ve been busy finishing the renovation of my garage so I can get the DS protected. I’m very grateful for all the info. I’ve got a petrol leak to fix first, then I’ll crack on with this. Thanks again.

              Mystery - if somewhat boring - part

              Sorry, Paul, I’ve not used this new(er) site for some time so didn’t know how to get a picture copied in.
              It’s a really boring part, but, fingers-crossed, you can see it now.

                I’m using a Samsung Galaxy tablet. Browser is Google 12.24. Don’t know if that’s relevant.

                  Just a thought. Why not delay a starter motor purchase? Remove your starter motor and check the carbon brushes. Mine had worn very low and I managed to replace just those.
