Hi Roger, I have had my 2007 C5 2.0D VTR Estate since 2009,now at 71,000 miles. Most of the time since then ( 15years) my servicing and MOTs have been performed by a small Citroen/Peugeot garage in Reading where I live. I have been very satisfied with their work on my car (no major surgery- fortunately) over the years, and importantly, I feel I can trust in their work. Perhaps, as you live within striking distance, you might ring them with your problem. Perhaps they could answer your prayers!
