Hello John,
It looks like there will be no G Rally this year. Some people did not like the Army Fling Museum venue we used last year because there was no camping provision. The CCC Board is aware we are not holding an AGM again and the existing committee members will carry on.

Linda and I will be at the CCC National Rally on both Saturday and Sunday unless thunderstorms prevent us from getting there. We will be in “PUD” our blue GSA Special reg No. PUD 441W. The Visa is back in storage for a while but did go to a classic car event earlier this year.

GSection RegistrarJamie: I have “The Blue One”: it is a 1985 652cc Special that has done nearly 100,000 miles. Linda and I have owned it nearly 16 years. Amazingly, it looks like a 30,000 mile car. You have joined a very exclusive group of owners as there are only about 4 or 5 taxed to be on the road in the UK.
You should be aware that Mike Harker and I have a selection of spare parts between us that might be able to help you if you have problems sourcing components. When you eventually get it on the road, I hope you will find it is: comfortable; has lovely steering; good heating and ventilation; quiet at 60 mpg cruise or when engine not working hard and thus much more refined than a 2CV or Dyane or Ami; brakes are heavy but effective; nearly 2CV slow but other drivers think you are a normal car!
Sadly, our Visa has not gone anywhere this year because of the COVID-19 issues and it is stuck in storage awaiting its turn to be used as I have 4 classic Citroens.
