Have two near identical Citroen Xantia Estates. The 1999 model was my everyday car from 2001 until 2014, and the 1998 one was bought in 2010 as a possible successor car. These are Mk2 estates. The differences are confined to such details as the R reg having steel not alloy wheels, and not having the 6 CD auto-changer. The V reg also has a tow bar.
Neither car is perfect, but combined, one excellent looking car could be made from the two, with many spares left over for future use. Most importantly where one car has a rusty or damaged piece of bodywork, the equivalent item on the other car is fine. The 1998 model has done 55k miles, the other 143k, and has a snapped cambelt. To ensure that there is no confusion, this would be a project. Neither car could just be driven away. They would need putting on to a low loader or trailer. Also please note that I have not had either vehicle up on a ramp. so do not know the condition of the underside of either car. The brake pads have been removed from 1998 one, but not yet the 1999 one.
