1996 Xantia, LX Turbo Diesel with air con and a sun roof. MOT to 09/21.
Sold originally by the Citroen agent in Oxford to the original owner who sold it to the current owner, a Club member in 1998. This Xantia has been well driven and immaculately serviced. New engine at 51,000 miles. Now done 120,000 and is running beautifully. Virtually new Michelin Primacy 4 tyres. Recent battery. New cambelt. Full brake service three years (5000 miles) ago. Extensive suspension overhaul last year.
The last MOT had a few advisories:
Front brake hoses (which seem to come up as advisories a few times in the past)
Slight oil leak
Slight wear to driver’s seat (see picture)
Starter stuck once and needed freeing up. OK at the moment
Airbag light stays on sometimes (connection under seat?)
Fuel gauge temperamental
So nothing too bad at all.
It’s called ‘Soufflé’…. because it rises so well 🙂
The car is open to reasonable and fair offers. The most important thing is it finds a good home. The car is currently located in Canterbury.
