Saved from banger racing with 10 days to spare, this is the most useful and practical car I own. Unfortunately, the imminent arrival of another car means that something has to go. Since last September Alexsara has had new cambelt/water pump kit, 2 new tyres, new engine mounts, new cat & first bit of exhaust, new rear brakes, headlights polished and, most importantly, roof rust removed down to bare metal and repainted. All work done professionally, either by Citroen dealer or bodyshop. He's been garaged since December. MOT comes up September but I'll get a new one done if you like. I wd love him to go to an enthusiast.
Bad points: on the day of leaving for the National Festival I filled up (with Super) and as I moved away from the pump the engine coughed and the EML came on. However, he's done 1000 miles since without any problems, running smoothly and starting first time every time. Opening the driver's door sometimes makes the central locking lock and unlock. The stereo is not original, but does have CD and USB, and works fine. Bodywork is not rusty but cd use a good polish. This might get done in a week or so, can be seen in Worthing, Farnborough Friday 15th Aug or Rustival.
